Select a route from the list to open the route map. The colour of the button depends on the number of active transports. In the center is the name and below that is the number of vehicles on the route in the forward and reverse directions. The percent sign indicates discounted routes.

Symbol and meaning	Description
Bus	A large motorized vehicle designed to carry a large number of passengers on specified routes within a city or intercity.
Trolleybus	An electric vehicle that uses catenary wires for power and is designed to carry passengers on urban routes.
Tramway	A rail vehicle that travels on specially laid tracks and is designed to carry passengers within an urban transportation system.
Shuttle bus	A small passenger bus operating on a fixed route with the ability to drop off and pick up passengers at any convenient location along the route.
Intercity bus	A large passenger vehicle designed to transport people for long distances between different cities, providing comfortable conditions during the trip.
Metro	An underground or surface public transportation rail system consisting of electric trains designed to move passengers quickly and en masse throughout a city and its suburbs.
Train	A train of several cars pulled by a locomotive on rails and designed for long-distance transportation of passengers and freight between cities and regions.
Water transportation	A water vehicle designed to carry passengers along water routes, often used in coastal cities and for tourist excursions.
Airplane	A fast air vehicle used to transport passengers and cargo over long distances between cities and countries, providing regular and convenient connections.
A hitchhiker	A way for multiple people to share a car to cut fuel costs, reduce the strain on the roads and reduce emissions.
Taxi	Personalized, on-demand rides that provide flexibility and convenience for passengers compared to the fixed routes of traditional public transportation.

Symbol and meaning	Description
	The passenger symbol appears when you tap on a stop, which sets an audible notification when transport arrives. The symbol is visible to all Bustime users. Drivers can see that you are waiting for transportation at this stop.
	Status indicator for the status of the vehicle at the final stop.

The route diagram shows stops in two directions and the current location of public transportation. The predicted arrival time is shown next to the stop name.

Open the settings using the button at the top to set additional parameters. Here you can:

mute
disable notifications about changes in the number of transport units on the route
disable auto search of your current location by GPS (stops closest to you will not automatically appear)
clear the list of favorite routes

Bustime provides data based on the analysis of GPS data of the current location of public transport. Public transport is equipped with devices that send real-time information about their location via mobile internet. This process involves several steps:

Satellite navigation data is transmitted to the server

On the server, the data is written to a database and forwarded to the Bustime server

The Bustime server analyzes vehicle location points and transmits updated information to connected users
